Jackie and Jonathan are very friendly, helpful and great hosts. We were warmly welcomed by two lovely dogs (Elsa and Saffron) and at the table of our blue Chalet stood a flower vase with fresh, beautiful flowers and a basket of fresh eggs. The property is beautiful and varied, you can explore it and look on the hill over the wide landscape to the sea. The two donkeys (Bambi and Barnie) came every day. The blue chalet is a dream house and has everything you need. Our little trip to Ireland was so nice for us because we could live in such a wonderful place and felt in good hands there. We’ll back for sure!
We loved Rock Cottage! It was an absolutely fantastic place to stay and the location in south western Ireland was ideal!! The cottage itself was very well equipped, and the wood stove gave it a very cozy feel! The setting was beautiful – on a lovely farm, big trees, nice view from the top of the hill and very peaceful! The hiking on the farm and in the area was unbeatable! We were close to breathtaking coastal drives, ocean front towns and so much beautiful pastoral scenery.
Jacqueline and Jonathon were very warm and welcoming hosts! They were available to answer questions and help with anything required. We really enjoyed getting to know them. This was definitely a 5 star experience!! The chalet is a welcoming and cosy space. It has everything you need for a comfortable and happy stay. Your neighbours are the 2 adorable donkeys and Jackie and Jonathon were very friendly and kindly offered us fresh herbs to pick from their garden – perfect stay in a very pretty place. Many thanks, Alex and Dave
